Music class will never be the same again. Say goodbye to the recorder, clarinet, and the infamous symbols, we now introduce you to the latest in musical inventions.
The yaybahar may take up a lot of room, but this massive instrument produces an awesome tune. If Elvis was still living, he’d literally be shaking, rattling, and rolling after listen to the pulsing sounds that come from the string of the yaybahar’s cords.
This brilliant acoustic advancement was invented by Gorkem Sen. This video shows Gorkem giving us a real time demonstration of the yaybahar working its magic.
Hypnotic echoing invokes a powerful sensation that surrounds your entire body. One could easily imagine the strums of a yaybahar announcing the presence of an army preparing for battle. It would be awesome if it was incorporated on a Game of Throne’s soundtrack.
Hulled up in the mountains, Gorkem intensely shows us what the yaybahar can do. Calmly stringing its coils and lightly tapping its base with a padded mallet, I just want to be able to get my hands on one.
It’s like a massive guitar, violin, and bass drum all rolled into one. You won’t understand the magnitude of his invention until you witness it in action firsthand.
Now that he’s released this video, I’m sure quite a few people will be looking forward to getting their hands on a yaybahar of their own. (I want to be first in line!) That means Gorkem will need to protect his invention. Patents and copyrights take a lot of time and money.
