Video: A surprising look at Apple Watch hands on

Dear Professor Savings fans,

The cool guys at the Verge shot a great video playing with the newly release Apple Watch.   The design is stylish yet I am still skeptical about the use case.  I think ordering an Uber ride on my iphone is easy enough.

Now, let’s jump over to the entrepreneur opportunity side.

The Apple Watch aims to serve both form and function.  I think that developers who have useful utility apps should jump in early on the Apple Watch developer program.

While it is great to be an early mover, developers should be mindful of the screen size as the main limitation.

The Apple Watch comes in two sizes 38 mm and 42mm from Sport and Edition.

Sport models are the entry level starting at $349 with an aluminum body along with a glass watch face.

The Apple Watch on the other hand has a stainless steel body and a sapphire watch face staring at $599.

The cream of the crop is the Edition priced at a jaw dropping $10,000 featuring 18-karat gold.

According to a Fortune article, wearable technology can reach $80 billion by 2020 so this is just an early step for Apple to gain a market share in this industry.

If I were you, I would wait at least for the second edition.

Again, while we cover technology Professor Savings warns to differentiate what you need from what you want.
