Good intentions aren’t good enough to bring about the support that you need. Remember that you’re a businessperson above all else. Humanitarian and social ideals are great means of supporting your business but it’s not enough on its own.  

You have to have a business mind and be able to convince investors and the public that you know what you’re talking about. Dollars is what really makes the world go ‘round.
