It’s rare to log onto a site without being met with a popup asking you to subscribe. If you’re anything like me, you’ll eagerly fill in your email address without thinking twice. I don’t like to miss out on the things that interest me. Aren’t we all a bit fanatic over learning more about the latest release or receiving instant updates on what’s happening?
Do these things really matter or is there something we’re overlooking? Video messaging and instant text took the personal effect away from communication. It’s time we got back to that. It’s our human interaction that really drive us to success, not how many “likes” our posts can get.
Technology is a blessing and a curse. Here we are with a plethora of smartphones and just as many dumb people. We don’t even have to think anymore. The next generation won’t need to know how to count money, they’ll be using credit cards at the ice cream truck. Don’t let the hoopla distract you from the things that truly matter.
