Thanks to Echo and Kim, the couple who are being married in this wedding video that could just as easily be for tourism, or an advertisement for any and everything wedding and destination wedding related, videographer Bob Nicolas is likely to be in business for a long time. When I think of wedding videos I think of just that, a video of a couple’s wedding. I think recorded vow reciting, maybe some crowd reactions, and then toasts from drunken uncles at the reception later on. This wedding reception is not that, at all.
Some scenes look as though they only could have been shot for good filler in the video, others, like a beach front soccer match, the vow recital, and smiles of family and friends seem a bit more natural. The reading of a letter to the bride from her husband before the ceremony, as she gets ready with her bridal party looks like it may have been staged, but the sentiment comes across as real and combined with a wide pan out of a boat with a personalized sail and even a flame dancer, this wedding video shapes up to be one of the coolest, if not the coolest ever made.
Not being one of those people who are majorly into wedding things, the type who don’t even have boyfriends but do have wedding dedicated Pinterest boards with hundreds of ideas for inspiration, I haven’t seen a lot of other wedding videos, especially stranger’s wedding videos, but seeing what’s possible with this one leaves me in awe. If you are one of those single ladies with dreams of walking down the aisle and tons of time to dedicate to collecting photos, videos, and tips on ways to make your big day better, you’ll definitely want to add this one to your collection. If you aren’t, you’ll still be impressed by what you see.
A wedding like this one, which would probably fall into the category of destination wedding for most of us, is a dream, no matter if we end up having a highly professional and impressive highlights video like this one, or a long play by play that will most likely only be viewed except during divorce proceedings. Even just going to a destination like this one, with or without a mate would be spectacular. Subscribe to Professor Savings for tips on how to save money, and go where you’d like to tie the knot, you may even be able to save enough to book Bob Nicolas for the video.
