Mick and Rachel Hagen are a complementary bunch. The half-Guatemalan Mick loves to “shake his booty from time to time” and Rachel has an eye for design. Because of Mick’s intellectual ability, he was able to get accepted to Princeton. He soon realized it wasn’t for him. He dropped out and decided to start his own business. He’s created a website that allows universities to reach out to students. The uncertainty of entrepreneurship caused the couple to sacrifice. Now, their faith has led to their company growing to over 100 employees in two U.S. states and Japan.

His decision to quit on an ivy-league school didn’t gain much approval from his family (or his wife’s). Living in a family member’s basement unsure of where the next paycheck was coming from made things even harder. Still, his resilience paid off.
