Life-science is the fluid exploration of two realms offering an infinite amount of information. Steve Blank was enlisted by the National Science Foundation to teach a “Lean LaunchPad” course to 400 students. The topic? Robotics, computer science, geoscience, and materials science. Steve showed them how to bring their ideas to a larger market.
Students were matched with consumers to test their market hypothesis. His passion for life-science is so strong that Steve has gone on to launch his own “Innovation Corps” program. His focus is once again teaching entrepreneurs how to make their inventions marketable.
It’s difficult to work your way through obstacles put in place by the FDA. It’s just a hard to get people to accept innovative health care devices. The Innovation Corps has dedicated itself to making the journey from concept to commercialization much easier.
The “lean” method stands to make significant advancements in biomedicine and save millions of lives.
If these entrepreneurs can’t manage to get investors or keep their overhead low, they’re going to be faced with a completely new obstacle. Click here to subscribe to the Professor Savings YouTube channel and learn the latest techniques in money management.
