How to read a stock table in 3 minutes?

HI,

Professor Savings here.  Today we are going to learn how to read a stock chart or stock stable.

Stock is a type of investment or buying a share ownership of a company.

So since I use Google everyday and believe in their growth from charging consumer for placing ads, I look further into investing in their stock.

I find out their stock symbol is GOOG and first learn about their 52 week high.

In 52 weeks, this is the highest price it has been trading.

A 52 week low is the lowest price the stock has been traded in the past 52 weeks.

A dividend. is when a corporation profits and redistribute back to the shareholders. One note to take is that not all stocks provide a dividend.

Volume is how many shares are traded daily.

Take a look at the stock Apple.  Apple gives out dividend.

A yield is dividing annual dividend by stock price.

P/E ratio is the ratio between price of stock and a company’s earnings.

Day last is the price ended on that very day.  A net change is how the stock ended today compared to yesterday.

In summary, it takes time and experience to learn.
